As Requested by Our Blessed Mother at Fatima
TO MAKE REPARATION FOR THE BLASPHEMIES COMMITTED AGAINST THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
TO MAKE REPARATION FOR THE BLASPHEMIES COMMITTED AGAINST THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
"Whether the world has war or peace depends on the practice of this devotion, along with the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is why I desire its propagation so ardently, especially because this is also the will of our dear Mother in Heaven." -Sr. Lucia (March 19, 1939)
To those who faithfully follow Our Lady's requests for the Five First Saturdays, she has made a wonderful promise which she, as Mediatrix of All Graces, will certainly fulfill: “I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation.” This means that our Blessed Mother will be present at the hour of death with th
To those who faithfully follow Our Lady's requests for the Five First Saturdays, she has made a wonderful promise which she, as Mediatrix of All Graces, will certainly fulfill: “I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation.” This means that our Blessed Mother will be present at the hour of death with the actual grace of final perseverance, (which after the gift/grace of Faith), is the most important grace.
This rich devotion to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart of saying the rosary daily and making acts of reparation begins with an angel appearing to three children Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta in 1916 in the Cova de Iria in Fatima, Portugal to teach them to pray. They were taught the following two prayers in preparation for the Blessed Mother’s apparitions, and were to pray them in addition to their custom of praying the rosary each day.
“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love Thee. I ask pardon for all those who do not believe in Thee, do not adore Thee, do not hope in Thee, do not love Thee.”
“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly and I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of the same Son Jesus Christ, present in the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for all the sacrileges, outrages, and indifferences by which He Himself is offended. And by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.”
The Blessed Mother first appeared to the children on May 13, 1917 and told them that she was sent by God with a message for the world, which at the time was suffering the effects of the first world war. She promised that Heaven would grant peace to the world if her requests for prayer, adoration and consecration were heard and obeyed.
She explained that war is a punishment for sin and warned that God would further punish the world by means of war, hunger and persecution of the church, the Holy Father and Catholics.
“If My requests are not granted, Russia will spread its errors throughout the world, raising up wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will suffer much and various nations will be annihilated.”
The Blessed Mother repeatedly emphasized the necessity of praying the rosary daily, wearing the Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and of performing acts of reparation and sacrifice.
During Her second apparition the Blessed Mother taught the children what we now know as the Fatima prayer said between the mysteries of the rosary “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need.” She also showed them a vision of her Immaculate Heart with thorns piercing It, offended by the sins of mankind and desiring reparation.
She told the children that She would take Jacinta and Francisco to heaven soon, but that Lucia was to stay on earth a longer time. “Jesus wants to use you (Lucia) to make Me known and loved. He wants to establish the Devotion to My Immaculate Heart in the world. I promise salvation to those who embrace it and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by Myself to adorn His throne.”
The heart of Our Lady’s messages is contained in what is known as the “Secret” which She confided to the three children in July 1917. The secret consists of three parts, the first two of which have been publicly revealed.
The first secret was a horrifying vision of hell “where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wills to establish throughout the world the devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If people will do what I tell you, many souls will be saved, and there will be peace. The war is going to end. But if they do not stop offending God, another and worse war will break out in the reign of Pius XI.”
The second part of the secret specifically prophesied the outbreak of World War II and contained the Mother of God’s solemn request for the Consecration of Russia as a condition for world peace. It also predicted the inevitable triumph of Her Immaculate Heart following Russia’s consecration and the conversion “of that poor nation” to the Catholic faith.
The Third Secret has not yet been made public but was written down in 1944 and has been in the possession of the Holy See since 1957. Most informed sources speculate that this portion of the Secret speaks to chaos in the Catholic church, widespread apostacy and a loss of faith beginning in the seventh decade of the 20th Century.
In December 1925, Our Lady and the Child Jesus appeared to Sister Lucia, who had become a Dorothean sister living in a convent at Pontevedra requested the institution of the First Saturdays Devotion. She showed her heart to Sister Lucia encircled with thorns. The Christ Child said:
“Look My daughter, at My Heart, surrounded with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce Me at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You, at least, try to console Me, and announce in My Name that I promise to assist at the hour of death, with all the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturdays of five consecutive months, confess, receive Holy Communion, recite the Rosary and keep Me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary with the intention of making reparation to Me.”
Our Lord later revealed to Sr. Lucia that the reason for the five first Saturdays is because of the five types of offenses and blasphemies committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary:
1. Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.
2. Blasphemies against Her Perpetual Virginity.
3. Blasphemies against Her Divine Maternity, refusing at the same time recognize Her as the Mother of men.
4. The blasphemies of those who publicly seek to sow in the hearts of children indifference or scorn, or even hatred of the Immaculate Mother.
5. The offenses of those who outrage Her directly in Her holy images.
Here My daughter, is the reason why the Immaculate Heart of Mary inspired Me to ask for this little act of reparation…and in consideration of it, to move My mercy to pardon souls who have had the misfortune of offending Her. As for you, always seek by your prayers and sacrifices to move My mercy to pity for these poor souls.”
Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Oh Heart of Mary, Mother of God, and our Mother; Heart most worthy of love, in which the adorable Trinity is ever well-pleased, worthy of the veneration and love of all the Angels and of all men; Heart most like the Heart of Jesus, of which Thou art the perfect image; Heart full of goodness, ever compassionate toward our miseries; deign to melt our icy hearts and grant that they may be wholly changed into the likeness of the Heart of Jesus, our divine Savior.
Pour into them the love of Thy virtues, enkindle in them that divine fire with which Thou Thyself dost ever burn. In Thee let Holy Church find a safe shelter; protect her and be her dearest refuge, her tower of strength, impregnable against every assault of her enemies.
Be Thou the way which leads to Jesus, and the channel through which we receive all the graces needful for our salvation. Be our refuge in time of trouble, our solace in the midst of trial, our strength against temptation, our haven in persecution, our persent help in every danger, and especially at the hour of death, when all hell shall let loose against us its legions to snatch away our souls, at that dread moment, that hour so full of fear, whereon our eternity depends.
Ah, then most tender Virgin, make us to feel the sweetness of Thy motherly Heart, and the might of Thine intercession with Jesus, and open to us a safe refuge in that very fountain of mercy, whence we may come to praise Him with Thee in paradise, world without end. Amen.

Prayer at the end of each decade as taught to us by Our Lady of Fatima: Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of hell; and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy.
Prayer at the end of the rosary: Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our Life, our Sweetness, and our Hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Pray for us, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, that we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray, O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant we beseech thee, that by meditating on these Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
St. Joseph, pray for us.
St. Dominic, pray for us.
May the Divine Assistance remain always with us, and may all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Prayers for our Holy Father's intentions with the intention of gaining the indulgences attached to praying the Rosary in community. Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
MEDITATION - As Our Lady requested, please keep her company for 15 minutes while silently meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.

ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
Oh Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth and tender Mother of men, in accordance with Thy ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to Thy Immaculate Heart myself, my brethren, my country and the whole human race.
Reign over us, Most Holy Mother of God, and teach us how to make the Heart of Thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ reign and triumph in us even as it has reigned and triumphed in Thee.
Reign over us, Most Blessed Virgin, that we may be Thine in prosperity and in adversity, in joy and in sorrow, in health and in sickness, in life and in death.
O most compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven, watch over our minds and hearts and preserve them from the impurity which Thou didst lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. Assist us in imitating you in all things, especially purity. Help us to call down upon our country and upon the whole world the peace of God in justice and charity.
Therefore, Most Gracious Virgin and Mother, I hereby promise to imitate Thy virtues by the practice of a true Christian life without regard to human respect. I resolve to receive Holy Communion regularly and to offer to Thee five decades of the Rosary each day, together with my sacrifices, in the spirit of reparation and penance. Amen.
